Images of checks are stored electronically until they are automatically retrieved for statement production. Customers receive an 8 ½" x 11" image statement which includes a specially designed
first page, and features images of canceled checks, rather than the actual checks. Directly beneath each check image, the posting date, check number, check amount and trace number may be listed.
This format of check image makes it easy for the customer to store a year's worth of image statements in a simple three-ring binder. The high quality duplicates are printed in check number sequence for convenience in balancing and is particularly convenient when preparing tax returns.

Imaging also improves response to customer inquiries, check verification and makes production of customer statements and notices more efficient. Images of checks, deposit tickets and statements are archived via optical disk storage and retrievable through a PC network. Users can access, print or fax check images and statements.

The benefits of Director Check Image Archive are maximized when the optional Premier Image Proof of Deposit module (POD) is also utilized. Premier Image POD streamlines the conventional proof process by adding an enhanced image workflow and power encode process.
